"Belonging, Blinded Choices"  is an exploration of choice-making as a means of belonging, highlighting the intricate relationship between individual agency and collective identity. By examining spirituality, gender identity, values and customs, this work seeks to illuminate how these aspects shape our affiliations and experiences within various groups. The interplay of choices—both self-directed and imposed—reveals the profound consequences they can have, influencing our sense of identity and community in ways that could lead to empowerment or alienation. Through my lens, this work adeptly illustrates the nuanced dynamics of belonging and the powerful impact of choices on our lives and relationships with others.
