Visual Art

Meropa ya Badimo explores the relationship between humanity, the environment, and identity through recycled materials and storytelling. I transform discarded objects into powerful visual metaphors that speak to resilience, rebirth, and the spirit of Africanism. Each piece reflects how society can find beauty and purpose in what is often overlooked.

Inspired by my upbringing in Limpopo and the challenges faced by my community, the work invites viewers to consider the interconnectedness between people and nature. Through vibrant colors, texture, and symbolism, I aim to challenge perceptions of waste and value, encouraging a culture of care and creativity. This body of work is not only about art, but about transformation—giving voice to untold stories and reimagining possibilities for a sustainable future.
